Geoffrey Roth
Geoffrey Roth (Lakota – Standing Rock Tribe) is a Native American leader and advocate and expert member of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues who focuses on Indigenous determinants of health and food systems. He chairs the Coquille Indian Tribe’s executive health board and the board for Capital Native Nations (a nonprofit in Washington DC), leads the Indigenous Determinants of Health Alliance and is CEO of the Cedar Rock Alliance consulting firm. An activist with vast experience including grassroots community mobilisation, he served in the Obama administration from 2010 to 2017, and was Indian Health lead for the Biden-Harris Transition Team in 2020–2021.
